Bio-Gene successfully held the 2025 BMG LABTECH Drug Screening User Technical Exchange Conference in Shanghai on August 21, 2025. This conference was jointly held by Bio-Gene and BMG LABTECH, attracting the enthusiastic participation of drug screening experts, scholars and users from all over the country.

The conference began with a welcome speech by Mr. PS Liu, General Manager of Bio-Gene China, who extended a warm welcome and sincere thanks to every guest, user friend, and cooperative partner. Bio-Gene has always been market demand-oriented, continuously introducing new products and enriching its product line to provide more and better product options and services for Chinese users.

This conference invited Dr. Marjan Orban, the Global Sales director of BMG LABTECH from Germany, and Dr. Ralf Ernsberger, the Product Application technical support of BMG LABTECH from Germany. A comprehensive and detailed introduction and application sharing were made respectively on the company development history, product application fields and product line of BMG Labtech. The users listened attentively and had face-to-face exchanges and discussions with Dr. Marjan Orban and Dr. Ralf Ernsberger, which was very rewarding for everyone.

Dr. Dong Liang from the BlueCatBio manufacturer introduced the Blue®Washer non-contact centrifugal plate washer to everyone, which can be used to optimize high-throughput experiments such as drug screening.

This conference also invited several experts from ICE Bioscience, ACRO Biosystems , China innovation Center of Roche, Aprinoia Therapeutics, Suzhou Vdo Biotech Co.,Ltd. to gave academic reports. They shared the application and research experience of the PHERAstar multi-functional microplate reader in their drug screening research process, which was highly praised by everyone!

After the coffee break, Ms. Susie Liu, the product manager of Bio-Gene gave wonderful presentation on Application of PHERAstar FSX in High-Throughput Screening and Automation Integration. The demonstration of the PHERAstar FSX and the MARS software's data analysis, with real-time interaction, enabled the users to have a more in-depth and detailed understanding of the PHERAstar FSX.

Subsequently, Mr. Mark Wang, the application support of Bio-Gene provided a detailed introduction to the Myra automated workstation, shared case studies and conducted on-site demonstration operations of the instrument. This allowed the attending users to have a truly close-up experience with the instrument and gained product information from multiple perspectives. The on-site demonstration was highly effective.

During the open discussion session after the meeting, the attending guests and users had a lively face-to-face exchange and discussion with the technical experts of German BMG LABTECH & Bio-Gene. 

The 2025 BMG LABTECH Drug Screening User Technical Exchange Conference  came to a successful conclusion through extensive discussions. This user conference not only enabled domestic users to have a more comprehensive understanding of BMG's products, but also provided a great communication platform for Bio-Gene and the users.
